Adriana Chaidez-Pepin 3rd grade teacher: Author and Illustrator Annie Higbee came to read and discuss her book: The Hummingbird and The Narwhal to our school, Spreckles Elementary in San Diego. She left the students (of all grades) inspired and motivated. I would highly recommend hiring her to come and present at your school or organization. The message of kindness and friendship is paramount and her presentation was very well received.
